A prior racing commitment by one of the guests of honor meant moving the schedule up, so The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Violet Township Event Center in Pickerington, Ohio. Sponsored by IronLilly.com and presented by the National Powersports Dealer Association, the Hall of Fame Class of 2023 ceremonies will honor Rita Coombs, Ryan Dungey, Barry Hawk, Grant Langston and Travis Pastrana. Dealernews has a cameo role in sponsoring the live stream. Following the Induction Ceremony, a special reception will be held back at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.
To give fans of the legendary members of this year’s Hall of Fame class a chance to mingle with their heroes, the AMA has added a Cocktail Reception-only ticket to the lineup, which includes the reception at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, private unveiling of the Class of 2023 exhibit and a special meet & greet with newly inducted Hall of Famers. Scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 14, from 8-10 p.m. the reception begins immediately following the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
The fun doesn’t end there, though. From Friday through Sunday, the AMA will host several other exciting activities for motorcycle enthusiasts, including Friday’s adventure ride through Southeastern Ohio, Saturday’s Bike Night and more.
