NPDA CONNECTING WITH DEALERS

The National Powersports Dealer Association (NPDA) is set to “connect” dealers with resources, training and fellow dealers at its inaugural “Dealer Connect” event. Got concerns about too much inventory? Interest rates hampering your success? Need an assist with converting appointments into sales? NPDA is connecting dealers with peers and industry experts. The education and networking meeting is set for October 20-22, 2024, at the Sonesta Hotel in Columbus, Ohio.

“We’ve listened to our Dealer and Partner members about the benefits of in-person events in our relationship-heavy industry, and we’re excited to bring Dealer Connect to them this October in Columbus,” said Dave McMahon, NPDA Executive Director. “If sustainable profitability is important to your dealership or if your company supports dealers in their growth efforts, make plans now to join us.”

Dealer Connect will be a fall focal point for the industry, with a mix of educational sessions from dealership consultants, association updates from the NPDA, 14 hours of networking time, exhibitor tables and more.

The full schedule of presentations and speakers will be released soon. The speakers come from a host of highly regarded industry firms, including Garage Composites, Spader Business Management/NCM Associates, Tom O’Connor Sales Academy, National Powersport Auctions and more.

On Sunday, Oct. 20, the NPDA Board of Directors will start the day with a Board Meeting. Special Presentation Sunday will allow participating Partners to host their own session related to their business. NPDA will then host a Dealer Roundtable followed by a Welcome Ceremony and Reception. Monday, Oct. 21, will be a full day of sessions from industry experts and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snack breaks. On Tuesday, Oct. 22, the sessions continue, with breakfast and lunch being served. The event concludes at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

“As we’re building the lineup of presentations and hearing positive feedback from our Partners, it’s shaping up to be quite a debut event,” McMahon said. “If you want to get smarter about your business in a challenging retail environment, join your dealership peers as we get a head start on 2025.”
