Not the history of Supercross, but the story of Supercross, says narrator Josh Brolin. Directed by two-time Emmy-winning filmmaker Paul Taublieb, Pay Dirt captures the essence of the sport where passion meets commitment, relying on the twin pillars of cinematic camera work and deep archival research combined with in-depth interviews of Hall of Fame legends Jeremy McGrath, Bob Hannah, Ricky Johnson and Ricky Carmichael. Set for big screen premiers at theaters worldwide starting late January 2025, the film’s distributors, Monkey Wrench Films, realizes that there are many more cities and towns in the country where the film would be welcome, and perhaps SELL OUT a night or 2 at your local multiplex or independent movie theater… that is where local dealers come into the picture.

“It’s not often that a motorsports film of this quality comes around,” explains Henry Lystad, Founder/CEO of Monkey Wrench Films. “With a goal of 200+ theaters in North America alone, we’re searching for local dealers to help amplify our marketing message. If we don’t have a theatrical screening booked in your city and you’re looking for a unique way to engage with your customers, ask us about our affordable film licensing program we like to call “Host a Show.”

Even if you do have a screening in your town, Lystad suggests there are still plenty of pay-offs for dealers.

“Become a Local Dealer Partner and reach an endemic audience by providing in-store, social media and email marketing to your customer base when we visit your area, OR, by hosting a screening of your own either as an in-store event or at a space of your choosing. These are both excellent ways to market your business and attract new customers.”
