After Patrick Koether lost his battle with cancer earlier this year, the NEPG, Rekluse Motor Sports and Patrick's family wanted to create a special award in his honor. For 2020 the NEPG will be accepting nominations and selecting a National Enduro Series rider or an enduro enthusiast who has exhibited great sportsmanship for the 2020 Patrick Koether Memorial Sportsmanship award.
“Patrick Koether was an amazing ambassador for the motorcycle community, who had a love for Enduro Racing and also had a large hand in lifting Rekluse Motorsports into the huge success that they are now,” says NEPG. “He took great pride in the Rekluse brand and wanted to see it succeed.”
We would like for you to submit nominations of a rider or enduro enthusiast of the Kenda Tires USA AMA National Enduro Series that go above and beyond to show the same sportsmanship that Patrick displayed. Someone that is always willing to help out another rider, club member or anyone involved with the series. Someone that is helpful to all, uplifts others and that stands out at the races as a great ambassador of the sport.
