The Road Warrior Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of veterans and honoring their service. For the past five years Can-Am On-Road has been working in conjunction with the organization to provide adventures for wounded veterans — many of them first-time riders.
"The biggest annual event is the Road Warrior Ride, where together, we take a group of young, wounded veterans on a cross-country ride on Can-Am Spyders," explains BRP On-Road PR guy Brian Manning. In late October the 2018 Road Warrior Ride ran from San Jose, CA, to San Antonio, TX. "As always, we got great support from dealers along the way," Manning notes.
"One other very cool thing — every year we donate a Can-Am Spyder to RWF to use for fundraising to help support this event and others. This year they were invited to participate in the Las Vegas Barrett-Jackson Auction with that vehicle which they customized ahead of time. The Spyder sold for an incredible $186,000. All of that money goes directly to providing adventures to veterans, as it is a 100% volunteer organization. We couldn't be more proud."
