BMW Motorcycles of Richfield is celebrating a blast from the past and a look forward to 2021 this weekend, with the landmark Gelande Strasse ADV bikes as the guest of honor. “We are celebrating the 40th anniversary of this iconic BMW model,” says dealership GM John Stoddart. “Saturday special guest Jamie Rasmussen to show you best practices for adventure riding-touring… As well as other surprises and free swag.”
Rasmussen is the Owner and Guide for WinterOak Moto Adventures. Jamie has been riding on 2 wheels for over 25 years. He has been involved with the powersports community his whole life, from being a service writer at a dealership to being a certified motorcycle tech. “With a massive love for nature, Jamie turned to Adventure riding and has logged many miles and countless weekends in the Northwoods of Wisconsin,” adds Stoddart. “Seeing his love for nature and the ADV riding grow, Jamie opened WinterOak Moto Adventures to share the trails and a true guide experience with the common motorcycle rider.”
