In addition to joining in on a panel discussion at the MIC Aftermarket Summit and serving as the Conference Registration sponsor at Powersports Finance Summit, NPA is hosting two, one-hour sessions during the National Powersports Dealer Association Dealer Connect this Oct 21 & 22. These are interactive seminars discussing pre-owned best practices, the current marketing dynamics… and more! Dealers will be in good hands as NPA CEO Jim Woodruff and VP of Sales Mike Murray will be presenting at Dealer Connect in Columbus.
“Dealers can increase profits through reliable, proven auction services to solve inventory highs and lows through a nationwide network of more than 12,000 fellow powersports dealers,” notes Woodruff. “This will be a masters class of the NPA Education events that we conduct about 6-8 a year.”
Education Session #1 — Learn how to improve your trade-in valuation skills in this session. NPA VP of Sales Mike Murray will provide pro tips and tactics on how to make the most of your valuation process. Just as there is no nodding off during the frenetic pace of an NPA auction, Murray plans to put dealers through their paces! “We are pulling a couple motorcycles out of the auction lane at our Cincinnati facility,” notes Murray.
“There will be no cheating even if you have already downloaded the inventory for the subsequent auction in Cincinnati.” The Dealers will split into small groups to come up with their own valuations of vehicles on-site using a variety of tools. After each group shares its insight and the price they would offer for the trade-in, the conversations will continue about how and why each group came to its conclusion.
Education Session #2 — NPA CEO Jim Woodruff offers a behind-the-scenes look at the pre-owned space in 2024 and where it’s headed in 2025. Woodruff will provide insight into pre-owned inventory history and how dealers can capitalize on more than two decades of NPA pre-owned sales data to build their used bike business in 2025.
“We look forward to sharing this valuable material with the dealers attending the NPDA Dealer Connect conference,” concludes Woodruff.
