DUCATI DEBUTS DUO

Two new Ducati products made their debut at EICMA today: the Audi RS Q e-tron inspired DesertX and a new version of the Futa e-road bicycle… and the hometown hero played off the fact that they are the reigning world champions. Ducati is presenting itself as World Champion at the 79th edition of EICMA just days after the MotoGP finale in Valencia where the bologna-based brand pulled off the Triple Crown (Riders' title, Constructors' title and Team’s title).

World Champion Francesco Bagnaia's Desmosedici GP22 machine, Alvaro Bautista's Panigale V4 R Superbike and the MotoE V21L highlight the Ducati display in Italy. Bagnaia's bike was brought straight from the track right after winning the title on Sunday. After its world preview by more than 80,000 fans at WDW 2022, the V21L prototype, which replaces Energica as the spec bike for next year's FIM MotoE World Cup, made its public debut.

Speaking of eBikes, Ducati displayed its MIG-S, the TK-01RR and the AXS version of the e-Road Futa in the Matte Carbon/GP Red livery. Equipped with the SRAM RIVAL eTAP AXS groupset with wireless 2×12-speed electronic gearing and AXS connectivity, this version adds to the range of pedal-assist bikes. The Ducati Futa will arrive in U.S. dealerships with an MSRP of $8,295.

Desert racers may appreciate the 21" front wheel DesertX, which now features the new "RR22" livery inspired by the Audi RS Q e-tron that raced in the last Dakar. Shown to the public for the first time as a concept during the International Press Launch in Sardinia on the DesertX ridden by Danilo Petrucci, it will join the Matte Star White Silk color scheme in U.S. Ducati dealerships in 2023 with a starting MSRP of $18,295.
