DUCATI DOING WELL

Ducati closed the books on Q3 with the company’s strongest September ever. All told, 49,873 motorcycles were delivered to Ducatisti around the globe to the tune of 872 million euros in the first 9 months of 2022. This was a 21% increase compared to 2021. Add in the 62% increase in operating profit figures and the books balance nicely.

“The third quarter of 2022 has seen a strong improvement in the ongoing supply and logistics crisis,” says CEO Claudio Domenicali. “Thanks to this recovery and an efficient strategy carried out with our suppliers and partners, we were able to make up for the delivery shortfall we experienced in the first half of the year.” He adds all signs point to positive growth during the period where the new models for 2023 are being unveiled in the ongoing Ducati World Première series.

“Despite all difficulties the financial results of Ducati are outstanding and represent yet another record in terms of revenues. This financial performance is very relevant in order to finance the future plans of the company and maintain Ducati’s trailblazing attitude when it comes to motorcycle technology. Thanks to the shared vision with our shareholder we are more committed than ever to consolidate the brand as a Lovemark and continuously raise the bar of the experiences we offer to all Ducatisti.”
