#FlashbackFriday Yesterday was Rick Siemen’s birthday… and it also marks a year since we saluted Super Hunky’s passing. Generations of fans followed his exploits in the pages of Dirt Bike magazine and we all looked forward to the next event the GYDBT would haul our fearless hero (IYKYK).
Like Malcolm Smith, everyone of the era had a Hunky story… some of them were even true. How do you say goodbye to a legend? Turns out Hunky had written his own send off. Simply entitled “Exit” Hunk had the last word in the February 1982 issue of Dirt Bike.
