Billed as the “fastest, most powerful Vespa of all time,” pre-orders are being taken by dealers for the 2023 Vespa GTS 300 and delivery is anticipated in November. The new Vespa GTS continues the legacy of the legendary “Vespone”, as the “big frame” Vespas were christened. A total of 14 colorways and four versions of the scooter make for plenty of personalization of the base model, GTS Super, GTS SuperSport and the technologically focused Vespa GTS SuperTech.
All are available with a modern 300 hpe (High Performance Engine) powerplant: proof of Piaggio Group’s commitment to technology, intended to meet increasingly emissions standards and focused on sustainability. In addition to being Euro 5 compliant Piaggio points out that the body is made of steel: a sustainable material because it is 100% recyclable.
“The new scooters sport a modern look that incorporates technological advancements and finishing touches that may not immediately catch the eye, but make a subtle difference,” claims the company. “There’s no better example of this than the classic Vespa “tie” which has been redesigned to create an even more distinctive and original impression.”
Sounds like just the bike to roll into Amerivespa with in Flagstaff next year.
