Looking to transform your helmet biz this spring? HJC says the buzz is for their F71 Transformers “Bumblebee” lid. The latest collab with Hasbro, this helmet is not only functional but also a collector’s item for fans. “The Bumblebee provides both protection and a striking tribute to one of the most beloved characters in the Transformers universe,” notes HJC’s Nathan Kim.
“The front of the helmet prominently displays the bold red Autobots symbol, instantly recognizable to fans. Two blue highlights on the front resemble Bumblebee’s eyes, adding a robotic touch and recalling the character’s look in both his robot and vehicle forms. “However beneath the vibrant yellow and black color scheme intended to mimic Bumblebee’s armor is functional head protection.
The underlying F71 sport-touring helmet features a host of rider-friendly features. “Its aerodynamic design ensures high performance at speed, thanks to the Advanced Fiberglass Composite Shell, which keeps it light,” notes Nathan. “It also includes a Dynamic Multi-Step Sunshield for sun protection and a wider eyeport for enhanced visibility, F71 was designed for a comfortable fit with glasses. An emergency pull tab on the cheek pads offers quick, safe removal.”
The F71 blends style and functionality for riders and is compatible with the 2nd GEN SMART HJC system (sold separately), concludes Kim.
