JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Announces 2019 Supercross Team

Chad Reed Is Back

When Anaheim 1 rolls around look for the return of Chad Reed as part of the powerhouse JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki squad. Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (SMAI) and JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing are contesting the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross series with two-time 450 Supercross Champ Reed and Justin Hill. In addition, Alex Martin will join Jimmy Decotis, Kyle Peters, and Enzo Lopes in the 250 class. The four-rider 250 program will race with the all-new 2019 Suzuki RM-Z250.

Fan-favorite 450 rider Weston Peick will also be returning to the JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki stable for his fifth year after he heals up. A crash at the Paris Supercross in November left him multiple facial injuries, Peick will not be competing until he is healthy and ready. In the meantime, he will be signing autographs and meeting fans at various SX venues.

Chad Reed (#22) is fourth on the all-time Supercross win list, with 44 main event victories. The 36-year-old had a busy off-season, sweeping the S-X Open in New Zealand and capturing the International FIM Oceania Championship. He looks to carry that success into 2019.

See the entire Suzuki SX squad on January 5 at the Big A… or tune into NBC to see what is shaking with Supercross in 2019.
