TUNING INTO ROADRACING IN RECORD NUMBERS

 

Viewership of the 2020 MotoAmerica continues to expand. The tallies are in for the sixth round of the series at New Jersey Motorsport Park again featured increases in viewership as the series continues to set records in the 2020 season. The preliminary ratings for New Jersey contribute to MotoAmerica’s 2020 per-race average views of over 500,000 linear TV viewers (Nielsen P2+) and 750,000 digital views.

Additional early numbers for New Jersey further indicate:

Coverage of the HONOS Superbike races from Saturday and Sunday delivered 147,000 linear TV viewers (Nielsen P2+) on Fox Sports.

Facebook Live coverage of Stock 1000, Superpole and Twins Cup has garnered over 100,000 views already.

MotoAmerica Live+ streaming service delivered over 36,000 views from Friday to Monday.

YouTube race highlights delivered over 100,000 thus far. Also, further ratings for The Ridge arrived as the numerous TV airings spilled out over the month of August & September. Again, MotoAmerica surpasses 2019 viewership in multiples.

Over 350,000 linear TV viewers (Nielsen P2+) for a 73% increase.

Over 400,000 digital views thus far for a 27% increase.
