VOLCON SETS PHASERS TO STUN!

Following in the heels of last week's stunner from Volcon that the GM technology was going to be the driving force for their electric UTV, CEO Jordan Davis fills in more details in this video update. "At Volcon we believe innovation comes from collaboration. We believe that industry leading products come about through the blending of proven technology and great design; so much so, we made that our mission."

In addition to battery cell modules, the Stag (and the as of yet under wraps "Project X" vehicle) will use a number of supporting components from GM. "Volcon will be the first, and currently only off-road powersports company to offer a full lineup of purpose built, class leading UTVs powered by GM electric powertrains," he adds. This should greatly accelerate time to market for the EV UTV.

“General Motors has transformed from an automaker to a platform innovator, with scalable architectures designed to accelerate EV adoption across different industries and product types,” says Travis Hester, GM Vice President of EV Growth Operations. “Our work with Volcon is indicative of our plans and demonstrates the flexibility of the platform as well as potential applications well beyond traditional vehicles.”
