      QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experienced working as a test or motorcycle technician or equivalent
    • Air cooled v-twin experience preferred
    • Experience with tuning fuel injection systems and dyno testing is preferred
    • Must have a good driving record and a valid motorcycle operator’s license – or the ability to get one
    • 2 Year Technical Degree preferred with an emphasis in test equipment, internal combustion engine or electronic engine control systems or 4 years experience in similar position
    • Flexible, energetic, forward-thinking, and creative with high moral and ethical standards
    • High analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
    • Well organized and self-directed

    • Serve as technical owner for assigned components or subsystems, making day-to- day engineering decisions in alignment with Yamaha standards, processes, and cost targets.
    • Plan, execute, and lead laboratory, bench, and ride testing to validate performance, durability, reliability, and production readiness.
    • Analyze and interpret test data, identify technical risks, and drive design iterations or mitigation plans to ensure quality and reliability objectives are met.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to communicate design intent, support prototype and production builds, and resolve technical issues.
    • Support manufacturing readiness through design reviews, tolerance analysis, and resolution of production issues.
    • Coordinate engineering activities with Product Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Testing to support project timing and objectives.
    • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers as needed (non-managerial).
    What you need to be successful:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
    • 6–10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, including ownership of components or subsystems through production release.
    • Experience in motorsports, powersports, automotive, or other high-performance mechanical systems preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience designing performance-driven or durability-critical mechanical systems.• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal, tube bending, castings, molded plastics, and welding.
    • Proficiency in Creo (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) or equivalent parametric CAD tools.
    • Solid working knowledge of GD&T per ANSI/ASME Y14.5, including tolerance stack- up and drawing release standards.
    • Working knowledge of FEA for structural, thermal, or durability analysis and the ability to interpret results to guide design decisions.

    • Collaborate with advertising agencies to ensure accurate asset naming and seamless dealer material uploads to Brandfolder. Support Yamaha employees and dealers, vendor partners, and regional dealer agencies by managing and facilitating Brandfolder access.
    • Continually evaluate marketing research and track industry trends for the purpose of developing advertising plans and tactics. Evaluate competitive media, product placement, and promo opportunity trends for possible implementation into advertising planning.

Join our team in Garland Texas  as a Parts  Technical Support Specialist and be the go-to expert for our valued customers and dealers! We are a leading powersports product distributor, and we are looking for a hands-on, knowledgeable, and customer-focused individual to provide critical support. What You'll Be Doing (Core Responsibilities) Your primary role is to provide exceptional technical and parts support. Duties include:  Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, dealers, and technicians, providing expert phone support on technical issues, parts compatibility, and product questions.  Order Management: Efficiently process warranty claims and customer parts orders.  Documentation; Resources: Maintain, update, and organize product documentation, including owners manuals, service manuals, and assembly guides.  Inventory Assistance: Pull, package, and ship parts as needed; assist with stocking and organizing parts inventory.  Quality Reporting: Document and report recurrent or batch-related product issues to management for quality assurance and resolution.  Record Keeping: Maintain detailed, accurate records for management review and operational efficiency. What You'll Need to Succeed (Skills & Experience) This role requires a candidate with genuine, practical knowledge of powersports products.  Powersports Expertise (REQUIRED): Extensive, hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge of ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and related powersports products. If you work on them in your spare time, that's a huge plus!  Communication Skills: Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to clearly explain technical information to diverse audiences.    Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy and the ability to quickly navigate systems for order processing and documentation.  Organizational Skills: Proven ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain meticulous records.   Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00/ Depending on experience.   How to Apply We appreciate your interest!
