GOVERNOR RIDES WITH RALLY GOERS

Not her first rodeo! South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem will join the likes of bike builder Billy Lane and actor Kevin Sorbo for the 15th Annual Buffalo Chip Legends Ride. Set for Monday, August 10, the ride is dedicated to bringing rally goers together to raise significant funds for local charities. The "Ride That Rocks" has hosted riders from all over the world, including some of the biggest names in movies, music, motorcycling and media. Over the years, Buffalo Chip charity events such as the Legends Ride have raised more than $1.6 million for charity.

"Riders and celebrities first got together in 2008 to enjoy a ride through the Black Hills," explains founder Rod Woodruff. "We believed then, just as we do now, that riding together forms bonds that create brotherhoods and sisterhoods. We also believed that together we could help preserve riding heritage and make a difference in the lives of some very special Special Olympians while we ride. And together we have."

All proceeds from the ride will benefit the Buffalo Chip’s chosen Legends Ride charities, the SD Special Olympics Rapid City Flame and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame. Click here for more details:
