Moto Morini returned to its roots at EICMA, unveiling its updated take on one of its more iconic models of the past: The Kanguro. “Moto Morini have revived a budget 300cc single, which will compete in the busy lightweight ADV sector next year,” notes former Dealernews Foreign Correspondent and current Moto Gold UK publisher Alastair Walker. “There’s a lot to be said for small bikes like this as all-rounders, commuters and Sunday ride out machines too. For many older bikers these make a handy downsizing choice.”
“The Kanguro is a modern, versatile, and accessible dual adventure bike that nods to the 1980s with its slim silhouette. Every component is designed to centralize the mass, starting with the fuel tank located under the seat. The engine is a 300cc single-cylinder, rated at 34 hp and 27 Nm of torque,” says Walker of his pick to click from Milan.
The ABS can be switched off to keep the fun alive on dirt roads. The Moto Morini Kanguro 300 will be available in two versions: the base model, with a high-mounted front fender, and the Rally version, featuring a low fender and a compact windshield. Both maintain a low overall weight (145 kg for the base and 153 kg for the Rally) and a seat height of 880 mm. The bike will arrive in dealerships in the second half of 2026.
Moto Gold reckons the base model will be about £4600 OTR and the Rally another 500 quid on top.
