SHIFTING GEARS AT MIPS

Heads up: Rob Wesson has joined the Mip’s team. “Life has a funny way of coming full circle… I vividly remember my early days as the Engineering Manager at Giro Sport Design, performing some of the first tests on Mips’ technology. We saw a real and meaningful reduction in the rotational motion of the head and recommended we become an early adopter. After rewarding chapters in engineering and executive leadership at major helmet brands, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be partnering with the Mips’ team as their new U.S. Senior Business Developer.”

He adds, “Seeing that innovation continue to evolve and become the gold standard for rotational energy management has been incredible.” Mips’ mission to reduce head injuries and save lives is one Wesson has championed from the brand side for years.

“Now, I’m excited to work across the industry to integrate this life-saving technology into the next generation of helmets. Grateful for Jonas Söderqvist and Max Strandwitz for this opportunity.”
