The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame has an action-packed agenda for the 2026 Sturgis Rally. “The team here at the Museum continues to seek more opportunities to connect the Museum with riders around the country,” says Executive Director Heidi Haro. “Pearl’s Jam, the Meet & Greet with inductees and the Hall of Fame livestream are celebrations of the special things that the museum offers to the riding community.”
While the annual Hall of Fame Induction Breakfast remains a cornerstone of the Rally, the museum has an expanded lineup of public events, alongside a historic digital broadcast milestone. Highlights include:
Celebrating Women In Motorcycling
On Monday, August 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the museum will host Pearl’s Jam. Named in honor of Pearl Hoel, co-founder of the Sturgis Rally, the event celebrates the vital contributions of women in motorcycling. This year Pearl’s Jam recognizes the posthumous induction to the Hall of Fame for two legendary female motorcyclists: Bessie Stringfield who famously broke racial and gender barriers by riding solo across the U.S. in the 1930s and 40s, and Mary McGee, a pioneering racer who became the first American woman to compete in motorcycle roadracing, Baja and motocross. The event will also spotlight Florence Emde, the trailblazing matriarch of a multi-generational racing dynasty who features prominently in Don Emde’s new book.
In addition to historic tributes, attendees will witness the reveal of a custom, specialized piece of art by Dana KT of Metalwood Garage, designed to celebrate the modern experiences of women in the sport. Noted motorcycling women will be in attendance throughout the day, including past Pearl Hoel Legacy Award recipients and the 2026 Pearl Hoel Award winner, Heather Callen.
Named for Pearl Hoel, the Pearl Hoel Legacy Award celebrates people who leave the motorcycle world better than they found it. This year’s winner is Heather Callen, the “heart” of the longest running independent motorcycle media outlet, Cycle Source. She has handled almost every task imaginable in the business: editor, photographer, event organizer, production manager, accountant, travel coordinator, TV producer and problem solver.
Free Livestream of the Hall of Fame Induction Breakfast
For the first time in history, the perennially sold-out Hall of Fame Induction Breakfast will be accessible to fans worldwide. The entire induction ceremony, which takes place in Deadwood on Wednesday, August 12, will be livestreamed at no charge. For those unable to watch live, the video broadcast will remain available for free, on-demand viewing throughout the year. A link to the livestream is on the Museum’s website.
Hall of Famers on Main Street for the Inductee Meet & Greet
The celebration continues the day after the HOF breakfast. On Thursday, August 13, starting at 11:00 a.m., the museum will host the popular Inductee Meet & Greet event. This public gathering offers a rare opportunity for rally attendees to meet, chat with, and get autographs from the newly inducted 2026 HOF members alongside returning Hall of Fame legends.
Celebrating the 250th with S&S Cycle Custom Bikes
The S&S Cycle Independence Tour is a showcase of six custom motorcycles built specifically to celebrate 250 years of American independence. The tour makes its Sturgis Rally stop at the Museum from 9am to 4pm on Friday, August 14. S&S will spotlight six bikes from the top custom bike builders in the country and is showcasing them on this nationwide tour.
