Ducati UK, Ireland, Sweden and Norway boss Fabrizio Cazzoli has been promoted to Global Sales & After Sales Director and concurrently appointed to the company’s Board. “Fabrizio is a true Ducatista,” says CEO Claudio Domenicali. “He spent the early years of his career in Borgo Panigale and then gained direct experience across several markets, giving him a deep understanding of what makes the Ducati experience unique and special. This is particularly important at such a complex time for the market. Everyone on Ducati’s Board knows him well, which will allow him to settle into the role quickly.”
In his new role, Cazzoli will be responsible for leading Ducati’s Sales & After Sales activities globally, defining the company’s commercial strategy and ensuring its execution in various markets. He will coordinate the brand’s commercial development in 86 countries, taking direct responsibility for the 13 National Sales companies and the network of independent distributors, maintaining constant dialogue with the entrepreneurs and partners who represent Ducati worldwide. Key functions such as Sales Strategies, Planning, Business Development, Commercial After Sales, Service, CRM/Customer Experience Excellence and Dealer Training will also report to him.
Cazzoli has extensive experience at Ducati, where he began his career in logistics and then held roles of increasing responsibility in commercial and international operations. He previously managed Ducati’s Japanese subsidiary, and after a significant stint at Maserati, he returned to manage strategic markets including China and the United Kingdom, strengthening his strategic vision, skills and knowledge of the international context in which the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer operates. He succeeds Francesco Milicia, who, after having significantly contributed to Ducati’s growth in various managerial roles, will embark on a new professional challenge within the Group. “I would also like to thank Francesco Milicia,” adds Domenicalli. “Throughout his many different roles at Ducati, he has always achieved outstanding results and built a very positive relationship with his people, demonstrating remarkable leadership skills.”
“Taking on the role of Ducati’s Global Sales & After Sales Director is a great honor and a responsibility I embrace with enthusiasm, concludes Cazzoli. “Ducati is a unique brand, capable of combining innovation, performance and passion. Together with my colleagues and partners in our sales network, we will continue to work to further strengthen the brand’s presence worldwide and offer increasingly engaging experiences to our clients and enthusiasts.”
