OEM UPDATE: TEWA IS IN IT TO WIN IT!

Noting that U.S.-based TEWA MOTO is more than just another clone from China, the upstart EV operation is on a mission. “We aim to become a leader in high-performance, clean-energy powersports,” says founder/visionary Wayne Wang. “Our vision is to create the most advanced, most fun and most inspiring clean-energy power products for all riders.”

Even the name is a synthesis of the mission: TErra (the latin word for “earth”) WAtt to measure electrical power.

TEWA MOTO brings together the best global talents in design, engineering, and manufacturing. “We are not just building vehicles — we are building a new way of moving, playing and living with energy” Wang adds. “We deliver clean, powerful and fun mobility experiences for the next generation of riders.”

With the emphasis on fun, class leading suspension is combined with an upspec powerplant housed in a proprietary seamless chromoly “double wing” cage. With 21-inch front/18-inch rears and a 35-inch seat height, this is definitely a full-sized eMoto rather than an eBicycle. With limitless torque, 0-30 mph time is 2 seconds flat, and a top speed of 60 mph.

“Our mission is to redefine the world of power sports through clean energy and cutting-edge technology. We believe that performance and sustainability can coexist — and that the future of adventure should be both thrilling and responsible.
