Checkered flag for Rayce Guthrie! Everyone who ever exhibited at Dealer Expo knew him as the local dealership who supplied display bikes for the tradeshow, but long after he and wife Julee sold Bloomington Powersports, he continued to serve the local community and ABATE. “Today marks the first day of a well-earned retirement for Lawrence County Recreational Park Operations Director Rayce Guthrie,” posted ABATE of Indiana on September 1. “For more than a decade, Rayce has dedicated countless hours to maintaining, improving, and developing Lawrence County Recreational Park. His hard work, knowledge, and commitment have played an enormous role in making LCRP the award-winning OHV park it is today.
“Anyone who has spent time at the park knows that keeping a property like LCRP running takes a tremendous amount of work — much of it happening behind the scenes. Rayce has been there through it all, helping make the park a place thousands of riders, families, campers and ABATE members have enjoyed year after year,” added ABATE of Indy. “Today, Rayce finally gets to trade the never-ending list of park projects for something a little more relaxing!”
Dealernews joins ABATE in congratulating the Top 100 winning dealer on a great run. “Rayce, thank you for more than a decade of hard work, dedication, and service to Lawrence County Recreational Park and ABATE of Indiana. You’ve left your mark on the park, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done. Please join us in congratulating Rayce and wishing him a long, happy, and very well-deserved retirement!”
