A cult classic with industry insiders and die-hard enthusiasts alike, the Soboba Trail Ride has just become the latest COVID casualty. “In November we asked for your patience as we discussed plans for the 2021 edition of the Soboba Trail Ride,” says Bob Graziano. “We explained that we plan every Soboba Trail Ride with participant safety first and then riding fun a strong second.
“Because of that commitment, we must now announce that the COVID-19 pandemic will prevent us from presenting the 2021 edition of the Soboba Trail Ride.” Typically, the trail ride occurs in February or March when the riding conditions are ideal, but with vaccinations just beginning along with the surge of infections California is facing, it is impossible to safely do the event during the first half of the year.
“We apologize it took until this date to announce the event cancellation, but we wanted to wait to see if there would be a safe way to do the event, but that will not be possible,” Graziano concludes.
