Can-Am On-Road enters its 7th year supporting the Road Warrior Foundation by treating veterans to Bacon, BBQ and BRP! Can-Am On-Road treated vets to some “Adventure Therapy” deep in the heart of Texas.
Recently, RWF and Can-Am worked with the Adaptive Training Foundation (ATF), out of Dallas, to select a group of veterans for a needed adventure. The group of 11 riders hit the open road for three days, exploring some of Eastern Texas’ finest roads, along with copious amounts of barbeque, bacon, and campfire stories.
The experience was built to empower veterans to take control and believe in themselves, from going through the Can-Am Rider Education Program (REP) to learn to ride on three wheels prior to the ride, to coming together as a team to ride as a group and problem-solve along the way.
