Holeshot at A1: Bonnell had a big roll out at AIMExpo but then backed off… until now. “There are milestones you can mark on a development schedule… And then there are the ones you feel,” says founder and CEO Matt Wauters. “For years, the Bonnell 805 RX has existed as drawings, prototypes, test bikes and a long list of things we knew we could make better.”
According to the eMoto upstart’s Inside Line YouTube channel, Bonnell begins now… well, September 1, 2026: “Now we’re standing on a production floor surrounded by them.” Not prototypes. Not renderings. Not another step toward production…
Production.
Inside Line Episode 3 takes the team to Taiwan as the first production 805 RX motorcycles come together. They also visit Sirris to see where the RX suspension comes together, and follow the details that have to translate from engineering intent into something that can be built consistently, bike after bike.
“It took a global team across five countries to get here,” admits Wauters. “The first bikes are built. Production is underway. And they’re on their way. September 1, the Bonnell 805 RX officially releases.”
Stay tuned…
