DOUG HENRY AT AIMExpo

“Friday we will have AMA Hall of Famer Doug Henry in our AIMExpo booth signing autographs and giving away custom stickers, says Kenda’s director of powersports Jason Baldwin. An AMA Hall of Famer and X Games Gold Medalist, Henry became a Brand Ambassador for the Ohio-based tire team earlier this year.  “We are stoked to have a legend like Doug on board! His experience and level of competitiveness has no end, and we look forward to the new partnership and adding traction to his racing journey,” adds Baldwin.

During his motocross racing career, Henry broke his back in 1995. After making an amazing comeback, he went on to win the 1998 National Motocross Championship title. The seemingly unstoppable Doug Henry was again derailed in 2007 when he suffered a paralyzing spinal cord injury in a SuperMoto race in Daytona.

Despite the multiple injuries, Henry continues his racing journey, now on a variety of Kenda tires. He is still competing in adaptive extreme sports including motocross, snocross, snowbike and downhill mountain bikes. Check out his modded MX machine in the video here and see him in the booth at AIMExpo next week.

“Stop by for swag/drinks /food/new products — all brought to you by Kenda,” says Baldwin.  “#1707 in your program,  #1 in your Heart!”
