EICMA CELEBRATES 110 YEARS

Almost immediately after dealers discover what NPDA has in store for 2025 at DealerConnect in Columbus, the powersports world will converge in Italy for the Esposizone Internazionale Delle Due Ruote — the annual trade fair that launched in 1914.  Simply known as EICMA, Edition number 81, the 110th anniversary of the International Exhibition of Two Wheels, will run November 5 -10 at Fiera Milano-Rho. “EICMA. We have been making our mark for 110 years,” says EICMA president Pietro Meda.

In honor of the landmark year, 10 full pavilions, 770 exhibitors, more than 2100 brands from 45 countries, will occupy more than 330,000 square meters (an all-time record). With world premieres, the return of all the major manufacturers, champions and legends, gaming, an exhibition of historic motorcycles and the return of MOTO LIVE racing and demonstrations, EICMA is preparing to make its mark again. “On the one hand there is the desire to celebrate the history of the exhibition, the longest-lived in the world,” explains Meda.  “On the other hand there is the conviction of the uniqueness and the conquered centrality of our event for the industry and enthusiasts: each edition of EICMA objectively marks our history and our future.

“The EICMA exhibition model is still relevant after 110 years,” added Paolo Magri, CEO of the event. “Not only that, it is positioned for the future as 26% of exhibitors are coming to EICMA for the first time and 70% are international companies from every continent. We will occupy two more pavilions than last year, four more than in 2022… And then we mark important OEM returns…”

And speaking of relevant content, after last year’s success, an area dedicated to gaming and the world of motorsport video games returns. There will also be space reserved for start-ups in the sector created by EICMA thanks to the support of ICE, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies.
