To help jog our collective memories of the Golden Era Of Motocross, renowned motojournalist David Dewhurst teamed up with Vintage Iron founder and American Retrocross impresario Rick Doughty back in 2021. The goal was to take a step back in time and offer a heartfelt tribute to a magical period when talented and outspoken riders raced the most exciting factory machines ever built, while acknowledging the current resurgence of the motorcycle industry and to welcome the future of our sport into the fold by creating the Motocross Revival.
Fast forward from when we first sat down with the dynamic duo and the event is back, David's epic Golden Era Of Motocross book is a runaway success and Rick's American Retrocross movement is running WFO every weekend at Glen Helen.
