MIC AFTERMARKET OUTREACH

The Motorcycle Industry Council continues to stay at the front of COVID-19 crisis and prepare our industry to get back to work, not only for its OEM members, but the entire aftermarket. “The MIC Government Relations office has continued to work hard to make sure the motorcycle industry is considered and included in all economic assistance legislation,” says Andy Leisner, MIC Aftermarket & Allied Trades Committee Chairperson (and SVP, Managing Director Bonnier Motorcycle Media).

In fact, Leisner is scheduling the next MIC aftermarket committee meeting to coincide with MIC's next Symposium Series webinar: Episode 2 presented by VerticalScope Powersports, Looking Past the Fear and the Noise: 2020-2022. This June 25th episode of the monthly series will feature an economic forecast from Alex Chausovsky of ITR Economics. Chausovsky’s presentation at the last “real-world” Symposium in Long Beach last fall was very well received… but plenty has happened since then!

“This will provide us with some vital information on how to prepare our businesses for the months, quarters, and years ahead,” says Leisner, noting even non-members should tune in to the June 25 session, especially non-members. However MIC continues to offer resources to everyone in the industry on an almost daily basis, for no charge.
