Motorcycle Industry Council Aftermarket Committee Chairman Andy Leisner threw protocol out the window and opened today's committee meeting to all MIC members. "It is unprecedented, but necessary," he said.
MIC Senior VP of Government Relations, Scott Schloegel, provided a comprehensive update on the resources available to businesses in response to the #COVID19 crisis. Other panelists included Leisner and Corey Meyerson, MIC membership advisor.
"Today (Monday) was to be our quarterly meeting, and I changed the focus of it to be the COVID-19 outbreak and our Government Relations work in Washington with the stimulus and support resources that are becoming available for small-to-medium-size businesses in this disruptive period," explained Leisner.
"We decided to invite all MIC aftermarket members to hear Scott Schloegel explain these resources and how to access them. The result was a significant number of our aftermarket members wishing to attend. Lee Durlach had to move this to a full webinar platform to accommodate the number of viewers."
