Forget red letter days on the calendar, October 22, is an Orange letter day as the 100,000 motorcycles made in Mattighofen, Austria, rolled off the KTM assembly line. “This is what ‘Orange Blood’ is all about,” said KTM AG CEO Gottfried Neumeister from the factory floor.
“Today, the 100,000th motorcycle of 2026 rolled off our production line in Mattighofen,” he added of the milestone. “I’m really happy about this one! Because I know how much work our team has put into making it happen.
“Every motorcycle that leaves our factory is the result of people who genuinely care about what they do and share the ambition to build some of the best motorcycles in the world.” Given where KTM was this time last year, Neumeister and all KTM orange bleeders have a lot to celebrate.
“I couldn’t be prouder of our entire team. Your passion and commitment are what keep #KTM moving forward. This is what Orange Blood is all about! Thank you, team! This one is yours. On to the next 100,000,” concluded Neumeister.
