NEWS FLASH

According to a proclamation from the National Day Calendar — the folks who keep track of that sort of thing — June 13th is officially National Golf Cart Day. It commemorates that fateful day the first purpose-built golf cart was built. National Golf Cart Day was founded by E-Z-GO as “A National Day for everyone who loves feeling the breeze in their hair on and off the golf course.”

According to company lore, during a hot summer in 1954, in a cramped one-room machine shop in Augusta, Georgia, E‑Z‑GO was born. Two brothers started with a simple belief that they could build a better golf car — one that meets the needs of the customer better than any other vehicle on the market.

Now 70 years after the first E‑Z‑GO vehicle was built, there is still the belief to build vehicles and offer services that exceed the expectations of people–offering a vehicle that is better than any other offering on the market with a drive to sustain and improve that position.
