On June 28, Yamaha Motor Co., the parent company of Yamaha Motor USA and Yamaha Motor Canada LTD., announced they were leaving the snow business entirely in 2025. “The 2024 model year will be the final for available product in the European Market, while North America’s final production will be the 2025 model year,” according to the official statement from Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd. “Yamaha distributors will be working closely with dealers to minimize impact and best position their business over the next 12-36 months.”
Closer to home, Yamaha snowmobiles shares, “Since our announcement on Wednesday, the outpouring of support and positivity has been overwhelming. We love reading and seeing the memories Yamaha has made on your winters with Family and Friends!”
