Led by industry veterans Shane Talbert, Andre Lecompte and Gerald Lindenmuth, Republic Powersports has acquired Kent Powersports from former Major League Baseball All-Star and Hall of Fame player Jeff Kent and Operating Partner Matt Goulais. The transaction marks the beginning of an exciting new era for one of Texas’ premier powersports dealership groups.

The acquisition includes three dealership locations serving San Antonio, Austin and New Braunfels, giving Republic Powersports’ presence across one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions. The new ownership group is committed to building upon the strong reputation established by Kent Powersports while investing in its employees, customers and communities.

The transaction was brokered by Andre Lecompte of Rockmoor Consulting, whose expertise helped facilitate the successful acquisition.
