Since many of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation training providers are small businesses, MSF has joined with the Motorcycle Industry Council to get the word out on what’s inside the largest emergency aid package in U.S. history. "You need to know the details about potential financial assistance provided by the $2 trillion financial stimulus signed into law just last week," says MSF VP Robert Gladden.
Much of the "Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act" is there to help keep companies afloat, and billions of dollars in assistance money will be going to small- and medium-sized businesses.
"You can find out about U.S. Small Business Administration disaster assistance and if you qualify. And with one click, you can be directed to an SBA site to apply for financial help," Gladden notes.
"You’ll also find useful information on labor issues and protecting your IT system. Plus, there are state-by-state listings of declarations and resources, so you can find out what is going on where your business is located."
"We want to see your training site back up and running, after we are through this pandemic. We want you to be there, as always, to serve both new and experienced motorcyclists with the best training and education that together we can provide."
