“Our motocross and enduro models have already made their mark on the global racing scene, earning podiums and praise in their debut seasons,” says Triumph Motorcycles’ Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Stroud. Cross country represents an opportunity for further growth in Triumph’s off-road program, he adds. “The GNCC Series in the US draws top talent and massive fan engagement, while Canada, France and New Zealand also have thriving off-road communities and competitive cross country racing scenes.”
The TF 250-C features a high-revving 250cc four-stroke single producing 46.67 HP at 13,250 rpm and 20.9 lb-ft (28.3 Nm) at 9,250 rpm. In contrast, the TF 450-C features a 450cc four-stroke single that delivers 61.6 HP at 9,500 rpm and 36.8 lb-ft (49.9 Nm) at 7,000 rpm. Both powerplants feature forged aluminum pistons, DelWest titanium valves and diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings to reduce friction and enhance durability. A high-capacity clutch with hard anodized basket, hydraulic Brembo calipers and master cylinders with Galfer discs, and a five-speed gearbox with quickshifter, provide seamless control.
“With the TF 250-C and TF 450-C, we’re bringing that same competitive edge to cross country for riders in the US, Canada, France and New Zealand. These new bikes are built to the highest standards and have been through relentless development and testing to deliver race-winning performance in the most demanding conditions,” concludes Stroud. “We’re excited to see them compete at the highest level.”
The bottom line: The new TF 250-C is available from $9,695 USD / $12,295 CAD, and the TF 450-C starts at $10,695 USD / $13,195 CAD. Dealer deliveries in the U.S. and Canada begin in early October.
