ZERO ON THE MOVE

Citing factors like “improved collaboration with key partners worldwide,” Zero is shifting its headquarters from Scotts Valley, CA to Amsterdam. “The European market is the primary driver of Zero’s growth,” claimed the announcement just before EICMA. Noting that its new headquarters in The Netherlands “brings together global teams in a single, central hub at the heart of Zero’s fastest-growing EV market.” Europe has become Zero’s most important growth engine.

“Zero has been leading the way in electric motorcycles for nearly two decades,” proclaimed Sam Paschel, CEO of Zero Motorcycles. “With Europe setting the pace for EV adoption, relocating key headquarters functions to the Netherlands strengthens our global operations and allows us to respond more quickly to customer needs. It’s about focus, discipline and ensuring we continue to lead the transformation of the powersports industry.”

Coincidence that elimination of tax breaks and subsidies for electric vehicles in America led to the move? “The combination of our brand, our technology, and our global reach creates unparalleled opportunities,” claimed Paschel… who is not making the move to Europe (see below).
