Make that the Black Hills just in time for Sturgis! Tucker Powersports is putting a full court press on this year’s Rally, rolling out the latest from Küryakyn and TwinPower. Both brands will be prominently featured at multiple locations in the Sturgis area, supported by a crew of Tucker employees ready to serve customers at the event.
“The Küryakyn brand has been known for its presence at the top rallies in the country,” explains Tucker's Vice President of Sales Brad Turner. “We’re happy to continue that tradition and to add the great products from TwinPower to the mix as well.” Over at the legendary Buffalo Chip, Tucker has signed a multi-year deal with the Fozzy's Cycle Shop, an on-site motorcycle repair facility. Fozzy's is a Tucker dealer and will be able to offer the distributor's full range of parts, accessories and apparel. According to Turner, the relationship with the Buffalo Chip extends the brands' visibility to two additional display locations at the campground and numerous other branding opportunities.
Meanwhile at the epicenter of the Rally downtown Sturgis, Küryakyn and TwinPower will have nearly 4,000 square feet of display space outside. The Tucker pavilion will be at the J&P Cycles Store right on Lazelle Street, the main route through the city. J&P will provide retail support as well as a team of technicians available for customers wanting immediate installation.
Tucker will send a full crew of employees to staff the event for the duration of the Rally, which Turner says is the biggest manpower commitment that the distributor has ever made to a consumer event. Tucker’s Sturgis Rally events team will be on duty at all locations from Friday, August 5 through Saturday, August 13.
