Commemorating its 10th Anniversary, the Kurt Caselli Foundation is inviting Sand Sports Super Show attendees to visit with them. “We’re excited to be part of the world’s largest sand sports expo this weekend,” says KC66 Foundation president Donny Emler, Jr. “If you’re attending, be sure to come by and say hi! The Kurt Caselli Foundation is on a mission to protect and support the lives of off-road riders. According to the foundation: “While we understand the inherent elements of danger in this industry, we aim to help minimize this danger to the best of our ability.” The foundation has a three-part mission that encompasses safety precautions for riders before, during, and after a racing career.
1. Before racing, we are committed to encouraging, developing, and standardizing safety precautions that will help minimize risk outside of the rider’s control.
2. During racing, we are committed to developing, establishing, and encouraging the use of safety equipment and policies to increase the safety of the riders.
3. After racing, we are committed to providing a safety net that allows and encourages former racers to further their education and reach career goals for themselves and their families.
The Foundation pledges that 100% of all donations go to The Kurt Caselli Foundation to be used for its work in Protecting And Supporting The Lives of Off-Road Riders. The Kurt Caselli Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation. The Foundation was granted 501(c)3 tax-exempt status effective December 17, 2013.
