A chance meeting at the Sand Sports Super Show resulted in a major upgrade for Denago PowerSports dealers. With automatic integration into Price Books from OEMs — now including Denago—, Dealers will never miss a service bulletin and visibility into frequently updated price files… all in the dealer’s existing DMS program.
“I met Lightspeed’s Jeremy Johnson at the Sand Sports Super Show,” explains Denago’s General Manager David Garibyan. “In turn, Jeremy introduced me to HLSM’s Nick Arnone which created the opportunity to add Denago to the list of Manufacturers and Dealers that do business with both service providers… It is not always what you know, but who you know and we know Lightspeed is the leader!”
After originally launching in the boat biz 16 years ago, HLSM has surfaced as the premier powersports parts finder company, according to Garibyan. Seeing that opportunity to make things better for their dealers, Garibyan brought Denago Parts Manager Josh Loy onboard almost immediately. “Josh played an important role in working with both companies and supplying them with all our parts files by model so they could make these available to their customers.”
“The problem is that our files needed to be recreated in the format that HLSM and Lightspeed currently use which took some time, but we got it done,” explains Loy. Now a dealer that uses Lightspeed (read: “most”) can easily go into their CRM System and order our parts just like Honda, Yamaha and the rest of the major manufacturers.”
Garibyan gives Loy all the credit for making this happen which will make doing business with Denago that much easier.” Denago is expanding its Dealer network daily and adding partnerships and services like this is essential in becoming a mainstream player in this very competitive Industry.
