FIND IT NOW WORKS WEEKENDS

While many dealers were taking time off to commemorate Memorial Day, Find It Now was on the job recovering two stolen powersports vehicles in separate incidents in New York and Maryland. “FIN would like to extend a special thank you to Island Powersports in New York and Pete’s Cycles in Maryland for their expert installation of FIN devices on these recovered vehicles,” notes CEO Rob Martin. “They’ve each been protecting their customers’ valuable assets for many years. We also greatly appreciate the efforts of all law enforcement agencies and authorities involved in helping safely recover these vehicles and return them to their owners.”

In the first holiday weekend incident during the early morning hours of May 24, 2026, a FIN customer contacted the FIN Theft & Recovery Team after their Sea-Doo was stolen from College Point, New York. Using real-time data from the FIN Man app, the theft was determined to have occurred at approximately 1:52 a.m. The stolen PWC was tracked traveling through the Bronx before ultimately being located just a few hours later at a gas station in Flushing, New York. The customer was able to actively monitor the Sea-Doo’s location directly, helping contribute to a rapid recovery. According to the owner, the vehicle sustained little to no damage during the incident.

In a separate incident on May 25, 2026, a customer in Baltimore, Maryland, alerted the FIN Theft & Recovery Team after their 2025 Kawasaki KX450 was stolen from the front of their residence during the early morning hours. Utilizing FIN’s satellite-backed GPS technology, the motorcycle was tracked to a residential area where it remained stationary for several hours. Working alongside local authorities, the Baltimore Police Department successfully located the stolen KX450 concealed beneath a tarp behind a nearby home. The motorcycle was recovered with minimal to no reported damage.

“These recoveries are a perfect example of how valuable real-time GPS technology can be when every second matters,” said a FIN representative. “Our mission is to help customers stay connected to their vehicles and provide law enforcement with accurate, reliable information that can lead to fast and successful recoveries.”

FIN continues to provide cutting-edge GPS tracking and theft recovery solutions for motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, boats, jet skis, and other powersports vehicles nationwide… even on Memorial Day.
