The MIC Gas Tank Competition is a mentorship program open to individuals and groups, women and men, anyone with a new product or service idea. Gas Tank is specific to the powersports industry. Selected entrants are paired with an industry mentor who offers coaching and advice on developing a business plan. Entrants then compete for a chance to pitch live in front of influential industry business leaders and to exhibit at AIMExpo.
The MIC received 13 applications to the 2020 Gas Tank program. Eleven participants were matched with industry mentors and developed a written business plan. The business plans were reviewed by a group of industry experts and five participants were selected as finalists who will compete for first place, second place, and runner up.
