Motocross hero and the first AMA motocross champion, Gary Jones will serve as Grand Marshal of the second Motocross Revival. To be held at Glen Helen and sponsored by Yamaha, save the date for May 15th. Jones won the AMA 250 motocross championship on a Yamaha in 1972 and backed it up with titles in 1973 on a Honda and 1974 on a Can-Am.
"Great racing, dual-sport rides, trials demonstration, factory stars and vintage factory bikes, what more could you ask for," says co-promoter David Dewhurst. It's more than a race. It's a huge event to celebrate the sport we all love, and proceeds will go to support the Caselli Foundation."
A full slate of vintage racing, historic bikes and legendary heroes will be on hand. "Don't hear what you missed," Dewhurst says. "Tell everyone what a great weekend it was instead."
