Taking the Mystery Out of the Marine Market

The record heat wave in much of the country, plus exciting new PWC and pontoon product from OEMs including Kawasaki and BRP has seen a surge in the marine market. However many “motorcycle” dealers still find the marine market a mystery. To help beat the heat, and ride the rising tide —particularly in the pre-owned space — National Powersport Auctions has presented a series of educational webinars this spring. Mark your calendars for the next session on July 16.  Hosted by NPA Supervisor for Marine, RV and Specialty Products Tom Wilkinson will be hosting a free educational session to help buoy your boat business this summer.

In addition to answering any and all questions, Wilkinson will take the mystery out of determining what an old Jet Ski or WaveRunner condition report really means. “NPA’s proprietary condition reports are designed to provide marine businesses with all the information necessary to confidently buy and sell pre-owned inventory,” he hints. “During the upcoming webinar, you will learn about the in-depth process and how the scoring system is determined.”

Every boat undergoes an extensive inspection by an NPA specialist, who evaluates over 35 inspection points and assigns 3 scores – overall, mechanical and cosmetic. The inspection results are transparently reported and include more than 25 detailed photographs of each boat for review. With NPA’s proprietary condition reports, marine dealers and traders can make informed decisions about their pre-owned boat inventory.

Take the mystery out of Condition Reports, join NPA’s Tom Wilkinson 10:30 am PT / 1:30 pm ET • Tuesday, July 16. To attend the final webinar in the marine series to learn how to read and use NPA Condition Reports, click here:
