American Honda has announced the launch of its “HRC Performance Shop” pilot program with three well known dealerships picked to provide proof of concept. The performance shop program will enable U.S. roadracers to benefit from parts and expertise from Honda Racing Corporation in Japan. U.S. customers can access genuine HRC racing components via a factory-backed channel for HRC parts and knowhow.
“With the 2026 roadracing season now up and running, it’s exciting to launch the HRC Performance Shop pilot program,” states Brandon Wilson, Manager of Racing and Advertising at American Honda’s Powersports & Products Division. “American Honda has been growing its commitment to roadracing for several years now, expanding the Red Rider Rewards racing-contingency program and stepping up support of MotoAmerica teams like Real Steel and Jones Honda, resulting in the Stock 1000 title in 2024.”
The three dealerships tabbed to roll out the HRC Performance Shop pilot program are:
Al Lamb’s Dallas Honda – Dallas, TX
Jones Honda – Columbia, MO
Southern Honda Powersports – Chattanooga, TN
According to Honda, these dealers have an established track record of supporting high-level, closed-course motorcycle racing — whether through direct race-team involvement or through sustained technical and parts support for competitive racing customers—making them well positioned to uphold the standards and objectives of the “HRC Performance Shop” designation during the pilot phase. As insights are gained American Honda will evaluate opportunities to expand the program to additional qualified powersports dealers, reinforcing Honda’s long-term commitment to competitive racing.
The program’s initial phase will focus on offering select HRC performance components for 2025 and newer CBR1000RR-R models. This includes engine and electrical parts, chassis components and setup tools. Over time, American Honda will evaluate opportunities to expand the program to model-specific race kits and, where appropriate, the potential availability of complete, fully built competition units.
“Adding the HRC Performance Shop component is the next step in growing our support of roadracing, as it makes it easier for Honda riders and teams to be more competitive,” concludes Wilson. “With simplified access to HRC’s renowned knowhow and components, Red Riders should be battling at the front on roadracing tracks across the country.”
