Congrats to the Motorcycle Monkeys Mimi & Moto for winning the top honors at MIC Gas Tank awards during AIMExpo. After months of working one-on-one with industry mentors and building winning business plans, these entrepreneurs and innovators all vied for top honors. The pitches were evaluated by three judges headed by Dealernews resident entrepreneur Bob Althoff based on monetary growth potential, overall strategic plan, scalability, innovation, impact, viability and other criteria.
After some very tough preliminary competition, the cream rose to the top as the Motorcycle Monkey's made history. Mentored by our old friend Frank Esposito, Mimi and Moto made it happen:
Their goal is to become the Dr. Seuss and Walt Disney of the motorcycle world. Unique products are based on the characters of Mimi and Moto: The Motorcycle Monkeys, and consist of children's books, merchandise and future animation. These characters, combined with their values, offer a new opportunity to expand the entire motorcycle industry and to introduce children to the joys of the motorcycle lifestyle, helping to inspire and create the next generation of riders.
