DEALER NEWS: YOUNG POWERSPORTS ADDS SECOND HARLEY DEALERSHIP

“Our team is thrilled to expand further into the Idaho community, and strengthen our ties to the Harley-Davidson brand,” said Jeramie Young, director of Young Powersports after reaching an agreement to acquire Grand Teton Harley-Davidson in Idaho Falls, Idaho. “Throughout this year, we’ve taken significant strides forward as an organization, and enjoyed an incredible amount of growth. We look forward to seeing how this franchise, as well as our eleven others, impact our future.”

After opening its first location in Burley, Idaho in 2015, Young Powersports has become the premier powersports dealer for northern Utah. Now extending into Idaho and Missoula, Montana, Young carries multiple OEM lines at their 12 dealerships. In 2023, the company opened their flagship location in Centerville, Utah — one of the largest motorsport dealerships in the United States.

Located at the intersection of Houston Street and Utah Avenue, the transaction was set in motion during the summer of 2025, but didn’t close until October 29. Executives at Young Powersports renamed the dealership Young Grand Teton Harley-Davidson and appointed Jim Wilson as general manager. The franchise is set to re-introduce their operation to the community by hosting a grand opening ceremony in 2026. “With any grand opening, we strive to find ways that we can highlight our identity to the community,” noted Wilson. “The Young Automotive Group is an organization that strives to be a dependable resource both in and outside the showroom. We look forward to engaging more with the people in this phenomenal area.”

Young Powersports acquisition of Grizzly Harley-Davidson adds to other expansion efforts the organization has made throughout 2025. This year, the company brought both Ducati and BMW onto the list of OEMs they support by opening their Young Powersports Euro dealership in Riverdale, Utah. The company expanded their presence to Montana in July as well by adding two new locations into their network.
