The closing of the dealership ranks continues for Harley-Davidson as two storied shops come together under new ownership. On March 1, 2026, Southside Harley-Davidson and Hampton Roads Harley-Davidson will consolidate operations under brand new ownership by The Motorcycle Company.
“This transition unites more than 120 years of Harley-Davidson experience in one location — and the familiar faces you’ve trusted in sales, service, parts, and Motorclothes will continue serving you there,” claims the post on both dealerships’ social media channels. “Every employee has been offered a position in the new organization, and our commitment to the riding community remains as strong as ever.”
Putting a positive spin on the merger, The Motorcycle Company adds, “This is about strengthening what we’ve built together — and continuing to serve you with the same dedication you’ve come to expect… Thank you for riding with us, and starting in March come see all of us at 2211 Frederick Blvd in Portsmouth, VA.
