7 HILLS HARLEY-DAVIDSON SHUTS DOWN
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce 7 Hills Harley-Davidson is permanently closing,” says the Loomis Family. “Our final day of business will be September 12th, and the dealership will be permanently closed beginning September 13th.” The store has served riders in the Cincinnati area in one form or another since the 1970s.
“It has been an honor to serve this community, and we are incredibly grateful to every customer who has supported 7 Hills Harley-Davidson, trusted our team and become part of our dealership family throughout the years. Before we close, we hope you’ll stop in and see us one more time. Everything must go, including motorcycles, MotorClothes, Parts & Accessories and more.
Moving forward, our friends at CinCity Harley-Davidson are proud to welcome and support all 7 Hills Harley-Davidson customers. Their Service team is working with us to help take care of existing service needs and open work orders during this transition.

TIMELINE
1979 Ferd and Thelma Meinor purchased the Harley-Davidson of Cincinnati Dealership previously owned by Ray Konkler (At 1375 Tennessee Avenue across from GE building).
1999 The Meinors built the new building at 1799 Tennessee Avenue.
1986 The family’s ownership of the main store, Harley-Davidson of Cincinnati-Eastgate began as a sub-store run by Ferd and Thel’s son Ken Meinor. (At its old location across from Siler’s drive-thru)
1992 the right half of the current building was built.
1994 The dealership earned its own franchise.
1995 Harley-Davidson of Cincinnati-Eastgate Inc. expanded its motorcycle lineup by being the first in Cincinnati to offer Buell Motorcycles and products.
1999 the left half of the building was built to more than double the size of the facility.
2004 Ferd and Thelma sold the Cincinnati franchise to new owners, after serving the Cincinnati area for 25 years.
2025 Jim & Lynn Loomis, become new owners of 7 Hills Harley-Davidson joining Loomis’ sister stores Napoleon Harley-Davidson, No Cages Harley-Davidson and Piqua Harley-Davidson. “We are excited to continue the legacy started by Ferd & Thelma and look forward to serving our customers in the years to come…”
